Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CueLab, including the website at cuelab.live and the CueLab desktop application (together, "the Service"). By creating an account or using CueLab, you agree to these Terms.
1. What CueLab Is
CueLab is a worship production tool that generates Ableton Live Set files, Morningstar MC4 configs, chord charts, and setlists from your multitrack stems. It is designed for worship music directors and production teams.
2. Your Account
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at isaiah@cuelab.live if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must be at least 13 years old to use CueLab. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. Subscriptions & Payment
CueLab offers a free trial and paid subscription plans (Starter, Standard, Church). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- Free trial — includes full feature access for a limited time. No credit card required to start.
- Cancellation — you may cancel at any time from your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not prorate partial months.
- Refunds — we do not offer refunds for subscription fees already charged, except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days.
- Price changes— we'll give you at least 30 days notice by email before changing your subscription price.
4. What You Can Do
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use CueLab for your own worship production work. Your subscription tier determines which features are available to you — see the pricing page for details.
5. What You Can't Do
You may not:
- Share your account or subscription with others outside your organization.
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or create derivative works of the CueLab application or its generated output formats.
- Use CueLab to process or distribute content you don't have the rights to.
- Attempt to circumvent device limits, usage limits, or any other feature restrictions.
- Use CueLab for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm, disable, or overburden our servers.
- Resell or sublicense access to CueLab without written permission.
6. Your Content
You own the files you upload and the setlists you create. You grant CueLab a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service to you. This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any audio, templates, or other content you upload. CueLab is not responsible for copyright infringement in content you provide.
7. AI-Generated Outputs
CueLab uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to help process chord charts. AI outputs are provided as-is and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using it in a service or performance. CueLab is not liable for errors in AI-generated chord data or song structure.
8. Store Purchases
CueLab's in-app store sells Ableton template packs and other production assets. Store purchases are one-time payments and are non-refundable unless the file is defective and we cannot provide a working replacement. All store items are licensed for personal and organizational worship production use only — you may not resell or redistribute them.
9. Third-Party Integrations
CueLab integrates with Planning Center Online and Stripe. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. CueLab is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of third-party services.
10. Availability & Changes
We aim to keep CueLab running reliably, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue a paid feature you rely on, we'll provide reasonable notice and, where appropriate, a prorated refund.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email before material changes take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Intellectual Property
CueLab, its name, logo, and the software itself are owned by CueLab and protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms don't transfer any ownership rights to you. Generated files (ALS files, MC4 configs) created from your content belong to you.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
CueLab is provided "as is"without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee that the Service will be error-free, that generated files will work perfectly in every DAW configuration, or that AI-processed chord data will be accurate. Use your own judgment before relying on any output in a live service.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CueLab's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data, even if we were advised of the possibility.
14. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Except for small claims, any dispute with CueLab will be resolved by binding individual arbitration through the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Rules — not in court and not as a class action. You may opt out of this arbitration clause within 30 days of first creating your account by emailing isaiah@cuelab.live with "Arbitration Opt-Out." Governing law: Florida, USA.Before filing any claim, please contact us first at isaiah@cuelab.live — most issues can be resolved quickly.
15. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Service. If we terminate your account without cause, we'll refund any prepaid subscription fees for the unused period.
